Arm Protection

Arm Protection is a part of Armour. The 14th Century saw the transition from mail to plate armour. It consists mainly of Rerebraces, Besagew, Couters, GDFB and Jack Chains/ Get Dressed for Battle, Vambraces, Rerebraces and Besagew are made of 16 gauge steel (1.6mm) while Couters are made of 14 gauge steel (2mm). In Jack Chains also elbow protection is made of 2mm while other parts are made of 1.6mm.
