Venitian Sallet, Coventry Sallet

Although the high rim is of typical English style this sallet was made in Italy with reference to the English market or probably on order of an English nobelman. The original is now at Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry. It is constructed from 2 mm (14 gauge) steel and has an adjustable, spider style, leather liner and chinstrap.
